Who do you Trust
The fear of human opinion disables, trusting in God protects you from that.
Prov 29:25 The Message Bible
The fear of what people will think or say about me has stopped me from doing many things. I'm not proud of this. All of us at some point wonder about the opinions of others but when it interferes with our service to God, it cripples us and limits the impact of our life on the world. Shifting our focus from God's perspective to human perspective causes us to miss opportunities to shine the light of Christ into the lives of others.
God has fully equipped us to successfully accomplish and overcome everything and anything (Eph. 1:3-12). Being able to carry out God's plan for our lives requires confident trust that He Who has called us and chosen us is also able to strengthen us and supply whatever we need to reach those goals.
Proverb 23:7 says, "As a man thinks in his heart, so he is." If you hold on to the fear of other people's approval, then you will live afraid. The perfect love of God removes fear from your heart (1 John 4:18) when you put your trust in Him. God is bigger and stronger and smarter and better than any human being (1 John 4:4). No one and nothing can prevail against Him. God can and will do great things in your life when you trust Him instead of being concerned with what people think.
God is so extravagant to those who trust Him - He holds nothing back. All that God is, is ours through Jesus Christ. His wisdom, His strength, His love, His ability, His nature, His victory - all of it is ours when we trust in Him. Trusting in God produces an inner strength in us that overcomes and wins in every situation we encounter. What you think in your heart is what you will have in your life. Letting the fear of man have any place in your heart will limit the impact of God's work in you and in turn will limit your ability to help others. God will you use you when you trust Him to make a positive impact on the community you live in.
Trusting God removes the limits on your life so you can complete the mission He has for you.
