Your Part

                               Give yourselves to the gifts God gives you.

We are all uniquely and individually made.  We are given abilities and talents for things that God wants us to use for His glory.  With these gifts comes responsibility.


                 Rouse yourselves and keep awake, strengthen and invigorate what remains....

To become good at something, requires time, work, and repetition.  We are to discipline ourselves.  We are to live everyday focusing on keeping what has been entrusted to us fully functioning and fruitful.  God has given us everything we need to successfully complete the mission of our lives but it still requires us to work.   

Working with God is learned through practice.  We will not be able to develop our gifts and talents without lots of practice.  Everything we do in God's service is a building block for our next step.  Until we become proficient at our current level, promotion will elude us.  If we are truly seeking God first, then we must press in to Him and do the very best we can with the opportunities we are given.  

If we want to live fruitful lives, we must put forth the effort to develop the gifts we are given.
