Prayer Request

I would like you to pray for me.  I am finishing my last week of work on this tour of duty.  I will be home in approximately two weeks.  Based on previous experiences I know that I will need the help of God to make the transition back to civilian life and living at home. 

Realistic expectations and good preparation are necessary in order to make returning home smoother.  I was surprised in the past when coming home was so hard.  This time I recognize my need for your prayers.  By praying for me, you will become partakers of my joy when God answers your prayers.  James 5:16 reminds us that the power of the prayers of God's children are a force to be reckoned with. 

Pray for me and my husband as we relearn to live together.  Pray for my ability to return to my civilian job with wisdom and patience.  Pray that my family will be safe over the holidays.  I am not sure yet what we are doing for Christmas or New Years so I need God's assistance in making plans.  Pray I will stay courageous as I stay on the course God has laid out for me.
