Praise Him

My heart is overflowing with praise for my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Who has paid the debt of my sin and brought me into the the family of God!

Some days my heart is so full of joy and praise for Jesus that I can think of nothing else.  Right now I am on the brink of a whole new season of my life.  I am excited and full of joy.

I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will show forth (recount and tell aloud) all Your marvelous works and wonderful deeds!  I will rejoice in You and be in high spirits; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High!
                                                  Psalm 9:1-2 Amplified

Through out the Bible we are reminded and encouraged to not only put all our trust in God but to praise Him.  As I think about how gracious and merciful and kind God has been to me, I can do nothing but praise Him.

This year alone, God has taught me personally about humility, given me several chapters to the book He had me start last year, showed me how to really live in His freedom, and He has placed several amazing women in my life.

With all that God has done for me I find myself truly living the abundant much more life that is promised in John 10:10.  I cannot help but praise God for being so good to me.

Even in the tough times of this last year, God has never left my side.  He is so faithful and so loving that sometimes I cannot even speak.  He leaves me breathless!

As I sit here today with so much to do to be ready for what is next, all I can think of is how great and awesome God is.

Look at your own life and think about what God has done for you this year.  Share the good news of how He has moved in your life or helped you through a rough patch.  Praise Him!

Jesus was born so that He could redeem you and bring you into the presence of God pure and holy. Praise Him!

I'm not sure how my schedule will turn out this week so don't be surprised if I don't get another post up for several days.

Let your mouth be full of praise for God, our heavenly Father.
