Timing

As the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles was approaching, Jesus' brothers were pushing Him to go with them into Judea.

Jesus replied, "Now is not the right time for me to go, but you can go anytime."
                                                             John 7:6 NLT

Jesus understood the importance of waiting on God's timing.

Running out ahead of God and not moving fast enought to keep up with Him both result in frustration and the delayed manifestation of what you are hoping for.

God does not measure time like we do.  We count hours, days, months and years while God focuses on the progress of our growth and development and the motives of our heart.  His perfect timing is never late or early -- it is carefully orchestrated to make a beautiful melody in your life.

Just as there is a time for every purpose under heaven (Eccl. 3:1) there is also a reason for the seasons we go through.  They are meticulously planned by God Himself in order to give us the very best opportunity for experiencing and recognizing His pure love and delight in blessing us.

We are never far from God's thoughts.  He is always looking to what is ahead of us and arranging moments of instruction so we will be prepared and set up for a victorious and beneficial outcome.

God does not promise that life on earth will be fair and pleasant but he does guarrantee His constant companionship through even the darkest of circumstances and unexpected success when we wait on His perfect timing.
