Word of Life 2
The Word of God, either written or spoken, is our life (Deut. 32:47). The more of God's word we put within us, the more of God we reflect to those around us. The power of God's word is magnified and multiplied when it is planted in a believing heart.
Understand, therefore, that the Lord, your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps His covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes His unfailing love on those who love Him and obey His commands.
Deut. 7:9 NLT
And if you hearken to these precepts and keep and do them, the Lord your God will keep with you the covenant and the steadfast love which He swore to your fathers. And He will love you, bless you, and multiply you; He will also bless the fruit of your body and the fruit of your land, your grain, your new wine, and your oil, the increase of your cattle and the young of your flock in the land which He swore to your fathers to give you.
Deut. 7:11-12 Amplified
All that you do will flourish and prosper when you keep God's word in your heart and as the focus of your eyes. Set your mind today to live the best life by keeping God's word in front of you.
So commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these words of mine. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Teach them to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates, so that as long as the sky remains above the earth, you and your children may flourish in the land the Lord swore to give your ancestors. Be careful to obey all these commands I am giving you. Show love to the Lord your God by walking in His ways and holding tightly to Him.
Deut. 11: 18-22 NLT
Speak about your life according to what God says. Keep your family and posessions safe by covering them in the promises of God. Declare God's word as the standard of your life. You cannot ever have too much of God or His word in or around your life.
Find out for yourself how valuable the word of God is. Spend time alone with God daily. Listen for Him and look for Him. He is the Living One Who sees you (Deut. 16:13-14).
