Word of Life 3

Based on the last two posts about the life and power of God's Word I have come up with a few statements you can use to stay mindful of God and His faithfulness.

Jesus is the Word made flesh (John 1:14).

Every verse of scripture is God-breathed (2 Tim 3:16-17).

My faith is built on and strenghtened by the power of the Word.

Every Word of God has a purpose and a function and it always does what it is sent out to do (Isa. 55:11).

The Holy scriptures are my life and the length of my days (Deut. 30:20).

         For the word of God is alive and powerful.  It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow.  It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.

God's word is our greatest weapon.  In Ephesians, chapter 6, the word is described as our sword.  With it, we can defeat anything that comes against us. 

Believe what God says above everything you see, think, or feel. 

Speak what God says about every situation or circumstance that comes up in your life.

Think of what God has promised as you look to your future.

With the Word of God in, around and through your life, there is nothing you cannot do and no place you cannot go.  Just as Jesus said:

To who so ever believes.......(John 6:47; 7:38; 11:26)
