Peace Within
God wants our attention. He wants some of our time. He wants to teach us how to live wisely in this world so we can do what is right and good.
Come and listen to My counsel. I'll share my heart with you and make you wise.
Prov. 1:23 NLT
But all who listen to Me will live in peace, untroubled by fear of harm.
Prov. 1:33 NLT
It's important for our well being to make time for God the top priority in our lives. We are all called to live God first and a God first life is marked by peace and wisdom.
The peace that God gives us is His peace. It does not change or fluctuate in the face of a crisis. God's peace is not influenced by our emotions. But having said that, our emotions can cover up God's peace in us when we let them run out of control.
The peace of God is instantly ours the moment we surrender our lives to Christ. It takes time for us to learn to live it. With every challenge we face, we practice living being lead by God's peace instead of our own emotions and God's wisdom instead of our own understanding.
We never face anything alone. God's peace, His Wisdom, and His very presence are ALWAYS with us.
God is the only One Who is strong enough to make us strong, wise, and peaceful.
Practice living God first today. Set apart some special time for just the two of you - even if it is only for a few minutes. Just enjoy His presence. Listen to His heart.
Wise living and peacefulness come by listening to God share His heart.
