Attitude of Gratitude

           For you are a holy people who belong to the Lord your God.  Of all the people on earth, the Lord your God has chosen you to be His own special treasure.
                                     Deut. 7:6 NLT

Here's the same verse in another translation:

     Do this because you are a people set apart as holy to God your God.  God your God, chose you out of all the people on Earth for Himself as a cherished personal treasure.
                                     Deut. 7:6 Message

Simply put - God loves you!

I remind you of this not so that you live focused on yourself but so that you will live focused on God.  Be grateful for God's generosity towards you.

Cultivate a life of gratitude by remembering that the only thing of value that you have to give to God is your heart.


Instead of judging yourself, praise God for His love and mercy.

Instead of gloating about God's Spirit living in you, be thankful that God does not hold Himself back from you.

Instead of worrying about people liking you or what they are saying about you, live aware of God's crazy love for you. 

Keep a list of all the things that God has done for you.

Keep a list of all that God has given you.

Remind yourself daily of God's goodness towards you.
