Guaranteed Winner
God's word lives in your hearts, and you have won your battle with the evil one.
1 John 1:14 NLT
God's word is alive! It is strong and powerful (Heb. 4:12). Knowing and using God's word is how you keep it in your heart. It also guarantees your victory against the evil one.
We do not win because we do the right thing all the time (although that is the goal). We win the battle against evil by getting back up when we fall and refusing to get out of the game just because we made a bad call.
The only way you can lose your fight with the devil is to quit.
Don't stop trying to imitate Christ. Keep at it. God has promised that no matter how many times we mess up, in the end we will win if we do not stop trying.
And let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
Gal. 6:9 NKJ
Use God's word to help you get back up and keep you strong. Stay in the game doing the best you can and rely on God for the victory.
