Psalm 23:1-2
Many years ago, I fell in love with the 23rd Psalm. I find this Psalm great for meditation and encouragement. I hope you too, will find great joy and comfort in the generosity of God.
The Lord is my Shepherd.
He watches over me and protects me. God never sleeps and He never takes His eyes off of me. He looks out for me. No detail of my life is too small for His attention and nothing escapes His notice. God takes care of me.

I shall not want.
Everyday, God provides for all my needs. I lack nothing because God has blessed me. I live an abundant life. I have more than enough because of the generosity of God. He meets my every material and spiritual need and increases all my resources so I can help others.
(Phil 4:19; 2 Cor. 9:8; Psalm 84:11; Prov. 11:24)
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He overcomes my anxieties and gives me rest. His constant presence keeps me safe and allows me to sleep safely in His arms. My mind does not fret because I know God has everything under control. He keeps me nourished with wisdom and knowledge. I lie down confident in His protection. My dreams are sweet.

He leads me beside still waters.
His waters of rest fill me with peace. I am calm in all situations for God is greater than man. His presence is refreshing. God sustains my life. Jesus is my fountain of living water. With Him, I never go thirsty. I am content in His provision. My soul and my spirit are satisfied by God alone.
