Psalm 23:4
The Lord is my Shepherd;
I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I am only passing through this world. It is not my home. I am a citizen of heaven. The earth will perish but I will spend eternity with the Lord God Almighty. The presence of God is the the key to my provision in this world. Apart from God I am in the shadow of death but with God I live in His beautiful light.

I will fear no evil;
God protects and defends me. With God on my side, who can harm me? The perfect love of God removes all fear from my heart. God goes before me and He guards my back. Nothing can prevail against me. Wherever I go, God is always with me.

For You are with me;
I am never alone. God is my constant companion. You, God, will never leave me nor forsake me. You, God, are my ever present help. Your eyes are always looking out for me and I am held safely in Your hands. Nothing can snatch me from Your hands. Nothing can separate us. I abide in You and You abide in me. We are vitally united for apart from You I have no life.

Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
Jesus, You are my comfort. You understand what I cannot put into words and share my concerns and sorrows. You remove the burdens I carry and lighten my load. Your voice guides me and another voice I do not follow. Your constant presence keeps me safe and prevents me from getting off track. Jesus, there is no one like You. You are the vine that keeps me alive and causes me to thrive.
