Connected to You
We were not created to live solitary lives. It is our connection to Jesus Christ that enables us to have a relationship with God and it is our relationship with God that compels us to live in fellowship with others.
We were made to have a relationship with God. The Old Testament confirms the fact that we cannot do it by ourselves. Our efforts alone are not enough to achieve or maintain a relationship with God. We need Jesus.
I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.
John 15:5 Amplified
Jesus is explaining how our relationship with Him connects us to God and to each other. God's wants a relationship with you and He wants you to share what He gives you with others.
In Christ we discover how God planned and prepared for our adoption into His family. We find forgiveness for our sins and healing for our hurts. We are made whole and perfect through our faith in Jesus Christ. Our relationship with Jesus feeds our spirit and makes us strong.
In Christ we learn what real love is, what it looks like, and how to live it. It is through Him, that we find out what gifts and talents we have and how we can use them to help others in their walk with God.
Live your life connected to God.
