Love to Love
The glory of God shines when we receive and reflect the limitless love He has for us.
May the glory of the Lord continue forever! The Lord takes pleasure in all He has made!
Psalm 104:31 NLT
You are pleasing to God. You were made by His hand and God takes great pleasure in you. His delight (and His love) for us does not fluctuate. It is always there like the rising and setting of the sun.
God's love for you is so great that He overlooks your sin and He accepts you as you are. You don't have to change for God. He made you. He knows you. He loves you. Just as God accepts you, He wants you to accept Him.
God loves to love you. It bring Him great joy. His love for you does not waiver or weaken over time. Neither does it increase because of your good deeds. You cannot earn God's love through your own efforts. All you can do is receive it.
Let God love you. Let Him show you how much He loves you. Let His love live in you.
Write down on a 3 X 5 card or a small piece of paper, "God loves me, a lot!" Carry it with you. Look at it frequently throughout the day and remind yourself that you are loved by God. Use verses like the one above to help you stay aware of how much God loves you.
Refuse to let what people say about you stop you from receiving love from God. Don't let your past hold you back either.
Open your arms and your life to be filled with the love of God. Spend time thinking about how God's love has impacted your life.
You cannot reflect the love of God toward others without first accepting it for yourself.
Let His love saturate your life and let it seep into the deepest places of your heart.
