Live What You Believe
We've talked this week about believing God and I hope some of it has helped you to recognize areas in your own life that you are not trusting God with.
Today, I want to talk about keeping your faith strong in your everyday ordinary life.
The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living.
Heb. 11:1 Message
Our belief in God affects every area of our lives because it is the foundation of our lives. We live by faith.
Because I believe that God accepts me for who I am, I accept others where they are.
Because I believe that God has forgiven me for all my sins, I forgive any one who hurts me or is unkind to me.
Because I believe that God loves me, I love others.
Because I believe that Jesus suffered much on my behalf, I make sacrifices to help someone else out.
Because I believe God has been so generous to me, I freely give to people in need.
Because I believe God does the best things for me, I do my best in my home and on the job.
What we believe God has done for us or given to us is easy to give away because we know that whatever we do let go of, He will replace.
Our faith in God is revealed in the way we treat people and how we respond under pressure.
Live what you believe by treating others the way God treats you.
