The Unlimited Plan
Believing in God is different than having faith in God.
While most people do believe that God is real, their lives seem empty and almost haphazard. They know God as an acquaintance who does not really care about them on a personal level.
Someone who has faith in God, knows Him personally. They have an intimate relationship with Him that sustains them through the peaks and valleys of life. They accept the Word of God as the absolute truth and choose to believe God over the way things look from their own perspective.
"You are blessed because you believed that the Lord would do what He said."
Luke 1:45 NLT
All of God's promises are attached in some form or fashion to the belief of the individual. You have what you believe. The Bible is full of "whosoever will believe," "if you believe," and "for those who believe."
To live a life of faith is a choice. We choose who we will follow. Jesus says "Follow Me." The decision to do so lies with us. We either accept His invitation or we don't.
We cannot live with one foot in society's way of doing things and the other in God's way of doing things. I know, I tried. Trying to live halfway for God only created more inner turmoil for me. I had to make the choice to either live they way I had been and be miserable or I could dare to believe that God loves me and wants me to have all of His promises active in my life. I chose to believe.
I have not regretted my decision. God has been and still is so very good to me. He has held nothing back from me. Although all of my choices since then have not been as good, God has walked by my side and taken care of me. He never stops loving and He never stops giving.
The limitless plan of God is for anyone who will believe.
It breaks my heart to see people live limited lives because they refuse to believe. Yea, it seems risky to step out and trust God but I promise that He will never let you down. God is good and faithful and He loves you very much. His plan for your life is limitless. Whatever you need (not always what you want), He will supply.
You can have God's unlimited plan in your life - if you believe it.
