Daily Wisdom
Time is the one thing we spend that we cannot earn back or hold on to. It goes by whether we like it or not.
Yesterday is over and cannot be redone or taken back. Tomorrow is not here yet and I cannot change it by worrying. What I do have is today.
So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble.
Mat. 6:34 Amplified
I am usually not one to worry about getting things done but lately, work has been super busy with at least one person out every day and I have several things in my personal life that need to get done. As I mentioned yesterday, I have been focusing on ALL the stuff that needs to be done.
Today, I am reminded to take things in smaller bundles, to rely on God to help me get done what I can today. Daily wisdom comes when I look to God for assistance in doing what needs to be done. I cannot do everything all at once but I can do one thing at a time and God will help me every step of the way.
God's grace is sufficient to help us do whatever is before us. The things that seem impossible to us are not impossible for God. He knew ahead of time what we would need and He is more than able to supply the people and resources required to get the job done.
Especially at Christmas, as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, let us remember that daily wisdom comes to us from our daily bread and that my friends, is Jesus.
Instead of getting caught up in all the things that we need to get done, let's choose to share our 'to do lists' with God and ask for His help. Then when He provides, let us receive with thanks.
Rely on God's ability to help you today.
