Weekend Wisdom

                Behold, all you [enemies of your own selves] who attempt to kindle your own fires [and work out your own plans of salvation], who surround and gird yourselves with momentary sparks, darts, and firebrands that you set aflame! -- walk by the light of your self-made fire and of the sparks that you have kindled [for yourself, if you will]!  But this shall you have from My hand:  you shall lie down in grief and in torment.
                              Isa. 50:11 Amplified

I came across this verse over the weekend and could not get passed it.  There is so much wisdom and truth to it that I didn't know where to start or stop.  So, I jotted down a few thoughts to share with you.

- quit trying to do things on my own

- get out of God's way

- stop trusting in (relying on) my own efforts

- simply live with Jesus

-  experience God's love for you by letting go of rules and regulations and accept all that Jesus has done for you
