Help For You

I have proved to myself (again) that God is always with me and He always helps me when I ask Him for it.  The next couple of months are going to be extremely busy and to say I am experiencing some stress right now would be an understatement.  I am trying to prepare for some training that will take me away from home for several weeks and just the preparations for that alone are overwhelming.  Add to it all the daily issues of life and the fact that my youngest daughter is graduating high school in a couple of weeks and I now have a recipe that can steal my peace and joy of today.

I refuse to let that happen.

So, I've been doing what we talked about yesterday.  I keep reminding myself that I can do all things through Christ (Phil. 4:13) and I have openly shared and acknowledged my struggles with God and a couple of others.  What surprised me most was that by surrendering the whole thing to God and asking for His help, I found that my peace and joy are staying constant and strong because they are based on my confidence in Him and not my circumstances.

Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God's Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don't know how or what to pray, it doesn't matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That's why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good.
                              Romans 8:26 Message

No matter what you are facing, take it to God.  Discuss the whole thing with Him and honestly share your thoughts, desires, and feelings about it.  You can take comfort in the fact God's loves you so much that He will help you through.

You can increase your strength for the process by relying on God's help.  He knows you intimately and He has a great plan and purpose for your life.  God will work everything out for your good if you let Him be involved in what you are going through.

Jesus tells us in John 6:33 that we will experience times of struggle but He also says to keep our chin up because He has defeated everything that will come against us.

You can have peace in the midst of struggles by allowing God to help you.  Snuggle up close to Him and enjoy His presence.  Seek His wisdom.  Ask for His help.  You can count on God to stay with you through the process and to strengthen you, lead you, guide you, protect you and defend you.  Whatever you need, He will provide.

There is nothing too big or too small to take to God and ask for help with.  Even if you cannot put things into words, God understands.  He will help you.

Instead of mulling over your situation and losing your peace and rest, allow God to carry the whole thing knowing that He will bring to pass the best outcome for you.

Let God help you through.
