Seasons of Life
This has been a year of great milestones and answered prayer in my life. My oldest daughter has finished her Master's degree and had my first grandchild (precious Emily) and today we are getting ready to leave town to attend my youngest daughter's high school graduation.
All week long whenever I thought of my youngest graduating, I have seen the mental picture I have of her laying in the warmer right after delivery. Where did the time go? It seems like only yesterday she was born.
I wish I could say that the years since her birth have all been easy and that my girls and I have always got along but that would be a lie. We have struggled and fought and been hurt but we have also loved and laughed and made peace.
To everything there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven.
Eccl. 3:1 Amplified
The Bible reminds us that there are seasons in life and even though we may not understand now why things happen like they do in our lives, God has a 'Master' plan and if we will wait on Him and trust Him, He will use both the good and the bad of our lives to help us on our earthly journey to Him.
In looking back on the conflicts and triumphs of parenthood, I have no condemnation for my mistakes. I can see how God has used every little thing to help shape and mold my lovely baby girls into beautiful and intelligent young women.
The eyes of the Lord are toward the [uncompromisingly] righteous and His ears are open to there cry.
Psalm 34:15 Amplified
Where ever you are on your journey of life on this earth, I want you to know that God is with you. And not only is He with you but He cares a great deal about you. Life will be full of ups and downs but you can count on God to work it all out for your good (Romans 8:28).
When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their distress and troubles.
Psalm 34:17 Amplified
God sees and hears you and He will help you. Know that He doesn't look at things like we do so His answer to your prayers may not look the way you expect it to. Accept His plan as the 'Master' plan and refuse to believe the lie that since you did not get it your way God does not care about you.
The faithfulness of God will help you through every season of life.
