Welcome

The one word on more door mats than any another word is - WELCOME.  It makes us feel wanted and accepted.  It encourages us to come closer.  My heart keeps repeating this word to me and with it comes the truth that all are welcome in God's family.

There is a place where all are welcome.

There is a place where
   - your past is ignored
   - your sins are forgiven
   - your wounds are healed

There is a place where you are ALWAYS
   - loved
   - wanted
   - cherished
   - valued
   - desired

There is a place where you are accepted regardless of
   - how much stuff you have
   - how much education you have
   - what your job title is
   - where you live
   - how much money you have
   - who you know
   - what you can do

There is a place where you can find refuge in the storms and the strength to endure.

There is a place where there is no judgement or condemnation.

There is a place where you can receive peace for your soul and refreshment for your heart.

There is a place where you are welcome no matter what you have ever thought, said or done.

There is a place where all are welcome.

This place is the arms of Jesus Christ.

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened and I will cause you to rest.  [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]  Take my yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls.  For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good - not harsh, hard, sharp or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne.
                              Matt. 11:28-30 Amplified

Come to Jesus just as you are.  Snuggle up close to Him and learn about Him.  Lean on Him for strength, wisdom, and refreshment.  Let Jesus love you.  Allow His love to seep into every area of your life.

All are welcome in the arms of Christ.
