Known by God

I forget the song but I was listening to on the radio yesterday but it talked about how well God knows us and it got me to thinking about that. Then this morning I come across this verse.

I am the Good Shepherd; and I know and recognize My own, and My own know and recognize me -
John 10:14 Amplified

God knows us so well that He knew all of our needs before He ever made us. He knew that as humans, we have a weakness that we cannot fight alone. That weakness is sin.

So before we were created, God designed the plan that would repair the separation from Him that sin would cause. That plan is Jesus Christ.

Jesus paid the debt of our sin long before we were born, before we ever got tangled up in sin. God knew then what we know now - we need His help.

Spend some time today thinking about how God has shown you how well He knows you. To help you, I've rephrased a couple of popular verses for you to ponder.

God knows me so well that He works everything out for my benefit (Rom. 8:28).

God knows me so well that He planned a great future for me (Jer. 29:11).

Gods knows all my weaknesses and limitations so He gave me His wisdom and strength to do anything I need to (Phil. 4:13).

God knows my thoughts would try to hold me back so He gave me a sound mind (2 Tim. 1:7).

God knows what you need and when you need it. Keep looking to Him and He will provide.

God not only knows you - He loves you.
