Safe Place

Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken. My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me. O my people, trust in Him at all times. Pour out your heart to Him, for God is our refuge.

Read these verses again slowly. Think about them for a minute.

God is our safe place. We can go to Him with anything and He will take care of us.

In the storms of life He keeps us anchored safely next to Him.

He understands our sorrow like no person can and holds us securely in His arms.

He is all the protection we need when we are under attack for there is nothing stronger or greater than He is.

He loves the sound of our laughter as we enjoy the people and things He has given us.

He is the Light that shines before us when we don't know what to do.

He is the strength we need to take one more step when we reach the end ourselves.

He is the food we need for healthy growth and the water that refreshes us as we live each day.

Everything we care about is important to God. He not only keeps us safe but He is the safest place we can be in any season of life.

Whatever you are looking at today, know that God is your safe place.
