Get Some
Wait and listen, everyone who is thirsty! Come to the waters, and e who has no money, come, buy and eat! Yes, come, buy [priceless, spiritual] wine and milk without money and without price [simply for the self-surrender that accepts the blessing].
Isa. 55:1 Amplified
Money is worthless in God's kingdom. The currency that is used is self-surrender. When we stop relying on ourselves and our abilities and start relying on God, He gives us free access to all that He is and to all of His promises. God provides everything we need for life.
Look again at the verse and pay attention to the word 'accepts.' We have to accept the blessings of God. He gives them all to us but until we receive them and make them our own, they will remain missing from our lives.
The [Holy] Spirit and the bride (the church, the true Christians) say, Come! And let him who is listening say, Come! And let everyone come who is thirsty [who is painfully conscious of his need of those things by which the soul is refreshed, supported, and strengthened]; and whoever [earnestly] desires to do it, let him come, take, appropriate, and drink the water of Life without cost.
Rev. 22:17 Amplified
Here again we see that God gives but we have to take what He has given us and make it our own. Accepting what God gives begins with us recognizing our need for Him. Once we are convinced that we need God more than anything else, then we can receive from Him.
Years ago I had a vision of me sitting at a huge table. The plate in front of me was empty but all my favorite foods were loaded on that table. My plate remained empty until I started helping myself to some of it. I had to put the food on my plate. I had to receive it and make it mine. God used this vision to teach me that He had provided everything but I still had to make the effort to accept and receive what He has given me.
You can have as much of God as you want. Help yourself to all that He has promised you. Now is not the time to hold back or be shy. Dig in, scoop a heaping helping of His promises into your life by believing that you have what He says you do.
All your needs are met.
You have more than enough.
You are loved by God.
You are blessed.
You are called and anointed by God.
You are forgiven.
You are healed.
You are strong enough to handle whatever comes your way.
You have the mind of Christ.
You can forgive those who have hurt you.
You can overcome that addiction.
You can get promoted at work.
You can control your emotions.
You can walk in love.
You are full of peace.
You make good choices.
You can do the right thing.
Go ahead, reach in to God's promises and get you some.
