The Power of Love

Ahhh the power of love! It is the strongest and greatest weapon in our spiritual warfare arsenal and yet it is rarely used to its full potential.
God's love for us is visible in every aspect of Christ's life and it all began with His birth.
From the moment He arrived, God's light was revealed for all the world to see. It compelled and beckoned to all kinds of people from all over the world so that all could receive forgiveness for their sins and be adopted into God's family.
It is God's love for us that flows in the blood of Christ and washes away our every sin - past, present, and future. It is His love that heals and restores our brokenness and empowers us to do far more than we ever imagined we could. It is His love that strengthens us to do all things and it is His love in us that allows us to love others.
Forgiveness is a gift that above all other things demonstrates our commitment to love others just like God loves us.
If there is anyone that you are holding a grudge or resentment against - today is the perfect time to reveal what the love of God has done for you and forgive them. Let God Who is the only true judge take care of them.
Forgiveness does not remove the consequences of sin, but it does allow you to reflect the love of God and to live freely in His love. The choice is yours. Follow Christ's example or not?
