Keep Asking

Up to this time you have not asked a [single] thing in My Name [as presenting all that I AM]; but now ask and keep on asking and you will receive, so that your joy (gladness, delight) may be full and complete.
                              John 16:24 Amplified

Jesus tells us it is okay to keep asking God, the Father, for the desires of our hearts. God never gets tired of our requests. In fact, He loves it when we rely on Him to help us.

We demonstrate our trust in God when we ask for His help. No issue or desire is too big or too small for us to bring to Him. Everything we give to God will be taken care of. He will not ignore our requests but He may not answer them as quickly as we think He should.

Waiting for God's answer or assistance is the hardest and most critical part of asking for His help. We tend to get impatient and try to take care of things ourselves. But, if we wait and let God do His thing, the result will be far better and bigger then we had asked for.

Knowing that God will only do what is most beneficial for us makes waiting easier. Our Father in heaven will never do anything to hurt us or harm us. Everything He does for us will ultimately result in good (Romans 8:28). This doesn't mean we won't have to face the consequences of our actions.

Whenever we make mistakes and ask for forgiveness, God immediately wipes our slate clean. While He does not condemn us, He will not stop us from enduring the consequences of our poor choices.

God doesn't get tired of us asking for help.

God doesn't mind when we ask for grace.

God never hesitates when we ask for mercy.

God loves it when we want to run something by Him.

The more we ask of God, the more we will have of Him. So, keep asking.
