The Dwelling Place
For the last few days, my mind has stayed focused on the place where God's glory dwells.
Lord, I love the habitation of your house, and the place where Your glory dwells.
Psalm 26:8 Amplified
I love being in the presence of God. I look forward to those quiet moments alone with Him more than anything else. It was here that I discovered the place where God's glory dwells is me.
The glory of God is where ever He is. His glory is the radiant splendor of His presence and as the story of Jonah reminds us, God is with us every where we go.
With God's presence comes every aspect, resource, and characteristic He has.
Jesus tells us that as believers in Him we become the home of God. He lives in us. We are His dwelling place. We are the place where His glory dwells.
Let that thought stay with you. Ponder how that affects your life.
