Your Transfer is Complete
[The Father} has delivered and drawn us to Himself out of the control and dominion of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.
Col. 1:13 Amplified
The past tenses used in this verse indicates that by our faith, God HAS ALREADY moved us into His kingdom. Our belief in Jesus Christ as the Son of the Living God opens the door for our transfer. We are now God's people.
This is a beautiful reflection of God's grace because it has nothing to do with our behavior, thoughts, or words. Our sin reminds us that we do not deserve such a gift. Yet God gives it to us anyway. He draws us to Himself knowing we are not perfect and that we will continue to sin while we are on this earth. It is our belief in Jesus that is the bridge for our transfer from darkness into the Light.
God's grace, His ability to give to us generously everything we need each day is not based on what we have done or can do. It is given to us because we believe in Jesus Christ and we accept His sacrifice for our sins. It is through the blood of Christ that the stain of sin is removed from us and it is from His blood that we are made right and accepted by God.
There is nothing we can ever do to earn the goodness of God in our lives.
