Unsearchable

Have you ever stopped to think about what the word unsearchable means?  It means there is no way you can see it all, experience it all, explore it all, or understand it all.  If some thing is unsearchable, we can never reach the end of it.  It is limitless and beyond our wildest imagination.

The riches of Christ, given to us by our faith in him, are unsearchable.

To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,
                              Ephesians 3:8 ESV

Paul was commissioned by God, through Christ, to go to the Gentiles (the non-Jewish people) and tell them about Jesus and what He had done for them.  Jesus was a man who lived in this world within the limitations of humankind even though he was wholly God.  Jesus did not surrender his divinity or his holiness or His majesty to live on earth.  Instead He brought the fullness of all that God is to earth so he could exchange it with us for our sin, our brokenness, our hurts, and our sickness.

There is no amount of worldly wealth that can come close to the riches we have through Jesus Christ. All the things society values - positions, possessions, money, titles, and fame - they will all fade, crumble, break and slip away.  Everything the world considers important will fall apart.  None of it will last.

But the richness of life given to believers in Jesus will never fade away or end.  Jesus promises that those who put their trust in Him will never be disappointed.  His promises stand the test of time. They are eternal.  The wealth we are given through Christ does not run out or run dry.

We have been given all the wealth of heaven.  Through Jesus we have the forgivness of our sins - all of them from yesterday, today, and tomorrow.  There is no weapon formed against us that can prosper or stand.  Every need we ask Him to meet is provided for.  All our sicknesses are healed by His  blood.  The desire of our heart to be loved, valued, and respected is fulfilled by God when we accept the sacrifice of Jesus on our behalf.  Our broken places, those hidden from human eyes, are repaired with the help of the Holy Spirit who was given to us by Jesus.  We are able to weather fierce storms and overcome intimidating obstacles by the grace of God through our faith in Christ.

Can money or fame even come close to the value of a life restored?

Can a title or possessions ever mean more than a hopeless life that has been transformed into a hope filled life?

Can we name one thing in this world that can withstand the purity of God's holiness?

There is NO thing in this created world that can match on any level the beauty of God revealed in a changed heart.

Yes, His riches are unsearchable for there is no end to His goodness.  God doesn't want anyone to miss out on His promises but He leaves the choice to receive them up to us.

God bless you and your family,
Heidirn
