Getting Back in the Groove

Hello!

I know it's been a long time but I have been busy working behind the scenes getting ready for this next season of life.  For the last several months, I have felt like I'm pregnant.  God has been stirring things up within me and preparing me for what's to come.  Excitment has been building but God has had me wait.  Have you ever had to wait for something?

I've carried a dream to write and teach about God and how He can transform a broken and hopeless soul into a loved and power filled soul. I know that He can do it because He did it for me.

The Bible says that God's promises are "yes" and "Amen" for who ever will believe them. But that's the hard part - believing what God says when you are in the middle of your mess.  In every situation that looked impossible or too difficult for me, God made a way.

He wants to do the same for you.

That bears repeating.  God wants to move you from your dark broken places to His pastures of light and health.  And I don't just mean physical health, although that is an important part of it.  Our Father wants to heal you spiritually, emotionally, and physically.  Don't believe me?  Well let's take a little look at His firstborn Son, Jesus.

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.  I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
                              John 10:10

The thief is the devil and he will always try to get you to believe that something is too hard, too big, too small, or impossible for God to help you with.  The thief is trying to steal, kill, and destroy your heart, your body, and your soul.  He doesn't want you to know that when you believe what God says about you - your heart and your life begin to change.

Jesus tells us that the whole reason He came was to give us life.  Notice He says, "I have come that they..." They means more than one person.  "They" includes you and me.  We are the ones Jesus came to give life to and this is not some boring plain mediocre life.  Jesus came to give us a God kind of life while we are here on this earth.

Our lives were meant to be used to glorify God and to help others find hope in the only Savior who has defeated death and made a way to the Father, Jesus (John 14:6).

When Jesus left this earth, He told His disciples to wait for the gift of God that would bring them power.  That gift was the Holy Spirit!

My first book "A Gift for the Taking" will be released soon and I am so excited!  Together we will look at the scriptures to find out exactly what Jesus has to say about who Holy Spirit is and what He can do to help you live all the promises of God.  Your relationship with God will deepen as you read this book.

Keep an eye on my Facebook page for the release date and while your there, like the page so you don't miss any early bird news.  Then share it with your family and friends.

May the Lord bless you and keep you until next time.
